KFC's "Famous Bowl", the Freakiest Fast Food Offering of All Time

According to the commercials, KFC's "Famous Bowl" consists of: "creamy mashed potatoes, sweet kernel corn, bite size pieces of all-white meat crispy chicken, topped with our homestyle gravy and 3-cheese blend" all crammed into one bowl.

My great-grandparents fed their pigs the same slop.

What were they thinking? Did they do any market research before releasing this?

The bowl is packed with 720 calories, 290 fat calories, 32 grams of fat, 65 mgs of cholesterol, 2390 mgs of sodium, and 81 carbs.

Since all fast-food menu items have to "beat" the previous items by being bigger and having more stuff, let's predict KFC's next menu item:

"Creamy mashed potatoes topped with corn, fried chicken, gravy, and cheese, then doused with a medium Pepsi, topped with a cherry pie, then coated with french fries and deep fried to a golden crisp and topped with more cheese and gravy."

Any other ideas?

The "Soup Nazi" Invades Britain!

Al Yeganeh, the New York chef who inspired "Seinfeld"'s "Soup Nazi" character, is planning to open restaurants in Britain.

His real-life restaurant chain surged in popularity after a 1995 "Seinfeld" episode depicted him as a strict, gruff "Soup Nazi".
If patrons did not follow his rules correctly, he would ban them from the restaurant and yell, "No soup for you!"

An 81-year-old widow living on pension was confronted by two officials and fined £50 for feeding bread crumbs to pigeons.

The Nottingham city council enforced the fine after review, citing that the feeding of pigeons poses "a real health risk".

"Feel Good" Story of the Day

Atlantic Beach, Florida -- Barbara Gilbert is a part time college student and works two jobs to pay her own rent. She cannot afford to buy herself a home. But she amazingly donates $200 per month to build homes for less-fortunate Jamaicans.

Jamaica is a rather poor nation. The economy is so bad that the unemployment rate hits 25%.

A typical Jamaican home is a shack made of rusted tin and other improvised materials, as shown here:



By donating $200 per month and raising more funds in various ways, Barbara was able to build these nice homes for impoverished Jamaican families:



In a recent ceremony, 14 new homes were dedicated to 14 Jamaican families in "Barbara's Village".


I thought this story was amazing, because she selflessly works to provide homes for others while being financially unable to own a home for herself.

Judge Dismisses Child Rape Case. Why?

Cleveland, Ohio -- Judge Eileen Gallagher dismissed a child rape case because the prosecutor was late to court.

The little girl was only 10 years old at the time of the rape, and is now 16 years old. Her mother says she feels victimized by the judge's decision.

And we wonder why we have such a terrible crime problem here in the USA ...

I think the judge should be removed from office. Then she should be raped, and her own rape trial should be later dismissed.

The rapist should be executed in the following way: first his genitals should be sawed off with an old, rusty saw. Then he should be left to bleed to death. If he doesn't bleed to death, he should be doused in gasoline and set on fire, then left for dead. If he still isn't dead, leave him alone until he dies of hunger. (No offense to anyone. That's just what I think should happen to ALL rapists.)

But that's just my hiney-whiney little opinion :D
