Frivolous Lawsuit of the Day

One fine windy day on a New York beach, the wind picked up a beach umbrella, which flew through the air and hit a woman in the head.

She required 13 stitches for a cut on her forehead, just below the hairline. She made over 100 medical visits for a supposed neck injury sustained as a result of the "torpedo's" impact. (It was an UMBRELLA!)

She sued the state and won $200K.
